LIVING FOR THE SMALL MOMENTS ✨ Ocean dips. Laug LIVING FOR THE SMALL MOMENTS ✨

Ocean dips. Laughter spilling out under the sun. Slow mornings with a book and a cup of tea. Skin kissed by salt and self-care.

This season of my life isn’t about chasing more. It’s about savoring what’s already here.
The small, sacred pauses that feel like wealth.

Because when I reflect back on my life, I don’t want it to be a blur of goals and grind. I want it to feel like a collection of moments—tiny, golden, and unforgettable.

Here’s to living like it’s already the soft life.
You know what makes a podcast host hit delete?

❌ Generic.
❌ Mass-sent.
❌ No connection to the show or its audience.

I see it all the time.

Recently, I got one for my podcast about Black romance novels, Black love, and Black women. The pitch? A historic traveler wanting to talk about exploring cultures.

It was obvious they:
– Never listened to an episode
– Didn’t know my audience
– Didn’t align with my show’s themes

This wasn’t a pitch. It was a shot in the dark.

Here’s how to avoid making the same mistake:

✅ Know your audience. Research the show and explain why your story fits.
✅ Show your homework. Reference past episodes or articles.
✅ Personalize it. Address the host/editor by name and tailor your pitch.
✅ Keep it short. Get to the point—fast.
✅ Use visuals wisely. Embed polished images (skip zip files).
✅ Master the follow-up. Be kind, brief, and strategic.

A good pitch isn’t about sending more. It’s about sending smarter. Alignment, strategy, and specificity will always win.

The old rules don’t apply anymore. This generat The old rules don’t apply anymore.

This generation of Black women-led brands is rewriting what it means to grow, lead, and be seen.

They’re building soft power businesses—calm, intentional, magnetic.

They’re choosing PR that feels aligned, not performative.

And they’re proof that you can create visibility, influence, and impact… without burning out.

If you’re ready to be seen for the work you’re doing (and not how loud you’re willing to be online), my 5-Day Pitch Challenge will show you how.
